Edna Vazquez uses her incredible voice to create a female take on mariachi.

Edna Vazquez was born in Mexico, and sent to the US by her parents when she was a teenager. Since she arrived in Oregon, she’s become a musician who writes her own songs, and also performs in a traditional mariachi band. She didn’t choose to come to Oregon, but now she can’t imagine living anywhere else.
