During the Great Depression of the 1930s, the government created the Works Progress Administration (WPA) to get millions of jobless people back to work. The WPA was a New Deal agency that not only gave people jobs, but also built-up public infrastructure around the country. Architectural historian Darbee explores a few of these sites around Columbus with historian Doreen Uhas Sauer to learn more.
