Broad and High

Needle Felter Holley Morris

Clip: Season 8 Episode 5 | 3m 6s | Video has closed captioning.

Columbus artist Holley Morris tells us that needle felting is a relatively new craft. While wet-felting has been around for centuries, the technique of needle felting by hand has surfaced only in the past few decades. Using only a barbed needle and a stash of wool roving, she’s able to shape three-dimensional designs that from a distance could be mistaken for paintings.
