With the race too close to call, Republican challenger Jack Ciattarelli rallied hundreds of cheering supporters at half-past midnight Tuesday. It was a wild election night that saw the lead seesaw between Ciattarelli, the presumed underdog whom polls put eight to 11 points behind, and incumbent Gov. Phil Murphy.
