IN 1878, THE OHIO GENERAL ASSEMBLY PASSED A LAW, CHANGING THE NAME OF THE COLLEGE TO OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY.
OVER THE PAST 150 YEARS, OSU HAS GROWN CONSIDERABLY FROM ITS ORIGINAL CLASS OF JUST 24 STUDENTS, TO OVER 60,000 AND COUNTING.
