To ensure the health and well-being of their animals, zookeepers often provide items of enrichment — activities that encourage captive animals to express natural behaviors and instincts. In a first-of-its-kind class, students at the Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) spent a semester developing cardboard enrichment products for animals at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.
