Discover the childhood watercolors made by a young girl in hiding from the Nazis.

In 1943, when Nelly Toll was 8 years old, she went into hiding during the Nazi occupation of Poland. For two years, she hid in a small room with her mother – and a set of watercolors. Seventy-five years later, her work is on view at the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio in Lancaster (through Dec. 30, 2018).
