Following a diagnosis of Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Columbus artist Julie Abijanac changed her art practice. She abandoned her paints and instead embraced nontoxic materials such as paper and fiber. And now her artwork directly reflects her personal struggle with cancer. In three dimensions, she explores the beauty of cellular growth found in a potentially deadly disease.
