ARTifacts: Traditional 19th Century Quilts

Clip: Season 3 Episode 39 | 4m 2s | Video has closed captioning.

Curator Becky Odom of the Ohio History Center shows us a selection of 19th-century quilts that were made by women to showcase their sewing skills and, in some cases, to attract a husband. In this periodic series, Broad & High delves into the seldom-seen archives of the Ohio History Center. With nearly 2 million items in its collections, not everything always gets to see the light of day.
