  • Rating: NR
Honoré Sharrer was an often overlooked but major American art figure in the years surrounding World War II. Her mostly figurative work reflects the political suppression of the Cold War era, a commentary on Pop Art and the daily experiences of ordinary working people. A comprehensive exhibition of her work is currently on view (through May 21, 2017) at the Columbus Museum of Art.
