Gretchen Peters is a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, and a two-time Grammy Award nominee. Her song, “Independence Day,” recorded by Martina McBride, was named Country Music Association’s “Song of the Year” in 1995. She collaborates, performs and records with her husband, Barry Walsh, who has worked with Roy Orbison, Waylon Jennings, Olivia Newton-John and more.
